The GDC64 Wx application provides a visual display of certain weather characteristics in the U.S. and Canada when using a GDC64 TAIU with an appropriate Heads Up XM weather receiver.
Current displays include U.S. Radar, Canada Radar, Strikes, Shear, Tops and Satellite imagery, US and Canadian METAR reports. The App also allows for last known aircraft position display on the map. User can zoom and pan to display desired map contents.
The application tracks your position while the app is in the background. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
This Application is for informational purposes only and should not be used for navigational purposes.
